Ingredients for Chicken Thighs in Lemon-Garlic Sauce

4 chicken thighs
4 onions
8 large potatoes
150 ml lemon juice
150 ml olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
1 bunch parsley
salt and pepper
Thyme, dried or fresh

 

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces. Peel and halve the onions. Finely chop the garlic cloves. Season the chicken legs with salt, pepper and thyme.

Mix lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil to a marinade.

Put the chicken thighs, potatoes and onions in a fireproof dish and sprinkle with the marinade. Sprinkle with thyme. Fry for about 90 minutes. Sprinkle with the marinade every 30 minutes.

Sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish before serving.

It goes well with greek feta cheese cut into pieces.
